5月29日，代市长魏雪生深入磁山镇花富村调研基层建设年开展情况。政协副主席郭全生陪同调研。

魏雪生一行深入郭宝才老人家，亲切询问老人的身体情况和家里的生活情况，他嘱咐老人一家要保重身体，生活上的困难要及时向村里和镇里反映，并叮嘱随行的村镇干部，要主动关心老人的生活，多为他们解决实际困难。代市长魏雪生还给老人送去了米面油等生活物资和500元慰问金。

在详细听取花富村村干部和磁山镇负责人、电力、交通等部门关于花富村基层建设年的情况汇报后，魏雪生指出：各级驻村干部要发挥优势，真抓实干为群众办实事；各有关部门要详细了解基层情况，充分了解群众意愿，密切关注群众所需、所思、所盼，想方设法为群众做好事、解难事，解决群众生产生活中的突出困难和问题，使基层建设年活动扎实开展。
